Large families who cherish Algonquin Park love our 15 person Algonquin Cottage Outpost. With 675 feet of shoreline, 2 docks, a floating sauna and Algonquin Park’s best sunrise, the Cottage Outpost features a private and intimate setting for a large family or special group who like to vacation together.

Week long and ½ week rentals begin June 24 and run all summer to Labour Day. Our location at Algonquin Park access point # 1 on Kawawaymog Lake is ideal for families/ groups who love the outdoors. Canoe into the sunrise and look for moose on the amable du fond. Swim to the floating sauna and feel the heat. Relax tired muscles. Fish for bass or trout. Hike the tower trail or loxton circuit. Bring your mountain bike and take on the rugged highland trails.

The Outpost is solar powered and completely “off the grid”. With 6 bedrooms, 3 washrooms with showers, 3 kitchens, a huge deck and kazebo, the Outpost is comfortable and built for a large group.

Included for weeklong rentals in 2012 are
• 2 hour paddle in the 11 person Voyageur canoe to a beach for swimming, ultimate and ice cream

• 2 hour sail with the director

• A campfire with hot drinks

• Floating sauna and one canoe

The cost includes: 4 days/3 nights or 7 days/6 nights accommodation in the Nipissing, Nahma and Magnetawan units.

Available for additional cost:

Catered meals - ask for quote

Canoes, paddles, pfds - $25/day

Kayaks, paddles, pfds - $35/day

Fishing rod & lure - $18/day

Bikes - $25/day or $40/two days

Suspension Mountain Bikes are available for an additional charge - please talk to our office.
