None! The Traditional Canadian Christmas is for people at any level of experience. Other than those returning for a second or third adventure, most of our guests are experiencing the wilderness in winter for the first time. For the most comfortable experience we recommend you do some regular exercises before joining us.

Our guests are active, involved people with an adventurous spirit! The age of most of our guests range from late twenties to mid seventies. While a group of 10 or more ensures the exclusivity of the lodge, there is no reason you can't come alone. Approximately one quarter of our guests come by themselves.

Voyageur Quest guides are skilled outdoorsmen and women who are there to ensure your wilderness trip is an adventure of a lifetime. On top of being well versed in the natural and cultural history of northern Ontario, our guides are selected for their love of the people and the land. All Voyageur Quest guides are qualified professionals and trained in wilderness first aid.

Each participant will be required to sign and return to Voyageur Quest a release of Liability before being allowed to participate in any trip we offer. This document releases Voyageur Quest from liability in the case of accident or injury for any reason.
