From our Canoe Outpost at Algonquin Park's northwest corner, Voyageur Quest operates guided canoe trips qualifying for bronze, silver and gold levels. Duke of Ed. canoe expeditions focus on leadership development, sustainable living and traditional wilderness travel skills.
Each Duke of Edinburgh Algonquin canoe expedition is tailor made. Voyageur Quest operates expditions for all group sizes. Most groups are divided into smaller groups of up to 9 that travel through the north west corner of Algonquin Park. Our canoe outpost
located at Algonquin Park access point # 1 is convenient as a basecamp for packing out as well as pre and post trip accommodation, showers and sauna.

Leadership and school orientations come in all shapes and sizes. Voyageur Quest creates leadership programs to fit the school and students. Many of these leadership programs take place out of our two Algonquin facilities located at Algonquin Park accesss point # 1. Large school orientations operate out of of partner locations at a number of camps and lodges located in Ontario's Provincial and National Parks.
Voyageur Quest recognizes that every school is different. School orientations are designed to fit with your school timeline and leadership objective. While the purpose of our experiential opportunities varies , common to each one of our adventures are the goals of increasing communication skills, enhancing group cooperation, improving problem-solving skills, enhancing personal leadership awareness, and increasing respect and trust for oneself and for the group.

"Snowsoe, ski and dosgled with heated wall tents"
Participate in an authentic winter expediiton at Algonquin's north west corner. Ski across frozen lakes and snowshoe through waist deep snow. Learn winter backcountry travel skills from seasoned guides. Rest tired bones in the heated wall tent and wood fired sauna. Start and plan the adventure at the Algonquin Log Cabin comfort.
This winter expedition focuses on off-the-beaten path outdoor exploration and backcountry travel skills. While no winter experience is necessary, these line of participatory adventures are intended for active people who have some outdoor experience and are looking for authentic adventure. This is a qualifying trip for the bronze, silver or gold award.
