Spring has sprung and we are excited to announce a new Algonquin culinary adventure. Join us this May and June for a relaxing weekend on stunning Hondoo island. Feast on gourmet meals, Ontario wine, craft beer and local ciders. Paddle, sauna or sip your preferred beverage by the fire.
Relax, slow down. Do as much or as little as you like. Enjoy all that spring has to offer with delicious meals featuring fresh trout, asparagus and trout lilies!
Search for wildlife and moose on a sunrise paddle on Kawawaymog Lake. Finish the day with a wood-fired floating sauna.
Pontoon boat shuttles, 2 nights Island accommodation, ( Queen bedroom with private washroom ) special spring menu, use of canoe , floating sauna
Enjoy the fresh air om the Pontoon boat ride to Hondoo Island. Go for a canoe, kayak or try an SUP. Heat up in the Floating sauna followed by a cold plunge!
Solar power, off - the- grid island paradise. Read, relax with your partner or friend and unwind in front of the wood-burning fireplace. Wifi is available if you would like to stay connected.
Ths culinary adventure includes a regional wine and cheese , 2 x four course dinners, one piicnic lunch and brunch on Sunday.

Hondoo Island is a 5 minute boat ride from Algonquin park access # 1. You park at the access point.
Hondoo Island is solar powered and has all the comforts you need for a stunning weekend.
Yes we do have wifi. Cell service is not reliable.
Yes, we operate on solar electricity. Our fridge , stove , water heater run on propane gas.

Not on this culinary adventure. We do love dogs and you are more than welcome to bring your furry friend on a private trip. Please contact our office about private trip dates and costs.

Payment Policy. A 25% deposit with “to book” form information confirms the booking. The balance is due 30 days before the trip. Full payment is due for trips booked within 45 days of the trip date. Please note a 2.4% credit card fee is applied. We encourage e transfer or bank wire transfer wherever possible.
Cancellation Policy. Cancellation received 60 days or more prior to the trip – Full refund minus a $75.00 admin. fee. Cancellation received less than 60 days – Loss of initial deposit. Cancellation received less than 30 days – No refund will be issued without the purchase of cancellation insurance, purchased at the time of booking from your travel insurance provider.
