With the unexpected and devastating COVID-19 raging on here in Ontario, there are so many celebrations and special events being postponed, reworked, and in many cases canceled. Birthdays, funerals, Barmitzvah, concerts, you name it is off.
Up here at Algonquin, for the last 29 years, Voyageur Quest has been honoured to host several weddings and special events every year. Our 5 unique lakefront cottage properties have been a location for weddings of all shapes and sizes. In 2020, we have a few weddings scheduled for summer and fall and we are hopeful that the COVID situation has diminished so that these families can have the attendance they have so carefully planned.
My niece, Caleigh Langford, is a wedding photographer ( you can see her work here) who has had a number of her clients postpone or change their 2020 spring or summer wedding venue. Many couples, I understand, are looking for a smaller, more intimate venue. Please note, if you are looking for a new wedding venue we would be pleased to help.
