I have wanted to go to Algonquin Park for many years, and wow this was a great way to do it! This place has so much to offer, what a wonderful way to get out on the water and also do some hiking with fantastic guides, return to amazing appetizers, a drink followed by a dinner that could be served at a high end restaurant. Opportunity to read a book, sit on the dock and take in the wonderful sounds of nature followed by an evening paddle and wonderful, interesting conversation with diverse and international guests. Everything is taken care of for you, coffee and hot chocolate or tea is always available, amazing desserts! Omg...the breakfast, even a packed lunch for our day jumping off of Red rock! Evenings were cozy in the beautiful rustic cabin!!! This place provides an opportunity to still feel the rustic natural experience of Algonquin, disconnecting from electricity, phones, etc...yet still feeling pampered by the wonderful staff!!! So happy I found this place!!!

What an amazing 3 day log cabin adventure for our family of 4, travelling with 18 & 17 year old lads and with no access to WiFi! We all loved the experience. Canoeing and spotting 3 Moose on the silent paddle at dusk was special and the highlight of the trip was the early morning canoeing experience on the lake as the sun started to rise and the mist lifted into a glorious sunny morning. To then paddle to an island, where a tasty breakfast of bacon and blueberry pancakes was cooked over an open fire, with lots of chatter, was just the most idyllic morning. We were lucky to have been with such a great group of people also staying in the cabin. All the food was superb and Emily and Alex were brilliant hosts. If you want a family adventure with memories to last a lifetime, then I highly recommend.

About Voyaguer Quest Adventures

A Wilderness Quest

The sun is barely up, the air cool and clean. The silence is complete except for the rythmic slap, slap of the paddles in the water, smooth as glass, reflecting the crimson and gold of autumn’s glory as it reveals itself on another new day in Algonquin Park.

Algonquin in a Log Cabin

Our three-day Algonquin adventure started with an exhausting three-hour hike followed by a 45-minute paddle in a huge voyageur canoe. Along the way we stepped around snakes sunning themselves on the rocks surrounding Music Lake and ran for our lives from a hive of swarming bees that managed to leave us with a few very painful memories of our afternoon trek to the Algonquin Log Cabin.
