Algonquin Log Cabin Adventures features guided canoe and hiking excursions, great meals, and a cozy cabin vibe. These all-inclusive three-day trips offer great value and are filled with fun and exciting excursions. Here are some of the highlights.
Learning how to canoe and exploring Surprise Lake is fun and spectacular! No experience is required on an Algonquin Log Cabin Adventure, and all canoe skills are taught during the trip.
Hiking the Beaver Pond trail to the Lookout. Learn about Algonquin wildlife and edible plants. We get a lot of questions about what kind of shape you need to be in. For the most comfortable experience, we recommend that you are able to be active for up to three hours at a time.
Surrounded by forest and with a stunning waterfront on Surprise Lake, these Log Cabin adventures have a great wilderness feel. Quiet and off the beaten track, the Algonquin Log Cabin feels like a real getaway. Free from screens and phones, you begin to unwind as soon as you arrive.
We love to finish the day with a wood-fired sauna and a refreshing swim in Surprise Lake’s cool, clear water.
The meals at the Algonquin Log Cabin are a real treat! Spring highlights include Blackberry torte, homemade soups, and chimichurri chicken. These are just a few of the delicious meals served in the Log Cabin and on excursions at lakeside camps.
Algonquin Log Cabin’s three-day adventures operate from May to October. These are small group trips that average 10 to 12 people. Our first Spring trip is over the May Long Weekend. Click this link for availability, or click here to see more pictures.
