There’s a moment on every canoe trip — usually somewhere around day two — when the noise of regular life finally stops. You’re on the water, paddle dipping, a loon calling somewhere behind you, and you realize your phone hasn’t buzzed in hours. That’s what Algonquin does.
Voyageur Quest has been guiding canoe and kayak trips through Algonquin’s northwest backcountry since 1991. Expert guides, gourmet backcountry meals, and routes through some of the most spectacular wilderness in Canada — from a first-timer’s 3-day introduction to a 13-day crossing of the entire park.
Here’s a look at every trip we offer. Find yours.

This is big water paddling in a truly wild setting, guided by top-level instructors who know every channel and campsite.
3-Day Georgian Bay Sea Kayak Trip

First-class kayak instruction is included, so beginners are very welcome.
