Algonquin Wellness Adventures

An Algonquin wellness retreat is time to reset and recharge, connecting with yourself, with others and with the natural world.

Why choose a guided Algonquin Wellness Adventure?

Wellness comes from connecting deeply with yourself, with others, and with the natural world around you. Our Algonquin wellness adventures are designed to offer an opportunity to reset, recharge, and rediscover balance in the heart of Algonquin Park’s stunning wilderness.

Canoe, Hike, Snowshoe, Ski

Get active with fun excursions by canoe, on foot, or in winter by snowshoe or on skis. Our adventures are about getting outside, being active and experiencing the unparalleled wow factor of Algonquin Park.

Natural Connections

In the clutter of busy, nurture the craving to connect. Share the ritual of a cold plunge, share the calm of a forest walk, and share laughter around a fire. It's always been about this natural connection.... to the place, to the people, to the rhythms of Algonquin Park.

Culinary Delights

Hand-picked oyster mushrooms sautéed over the Rumford fire, lakeside appetizers and cedar tea. Our chef pulls together incredible meals using the best local ingredients that celebrate the season and promote health.

Fall Wellness & Watercolour Adventure

Immerse yourself in the vibrant tapestry of fall colours as you paddle quiet waters by day and beneath a star-studded sky at night. Try your hand at watercolour with the paints out all weekend, hike serene forest trails, and enjoy daily breathwork sessions, a floating sauna and a harvest feast to remember.

Algonquin Winter Wellness & Culinary Adventure

You will love the frozen lakes, waist-deep snow, wildlife tracks, and the crisp, clean air. See a billion stars at night. A perfect blend of backcountry snowshoeing and skiing. Relax in the wood-fired sauna. Cool down with a plunge in Surprise Lake. In addition to the guided activities and delicious meals, jump into daily breathwork sessions led by Jeyda Deyna.

Algonquin Spring Wellness: Fire & Freshwater

On the longest days of the year, the light never quite leaves the lake. Wake to mist and loons, paddle into the sunrise and eat breakfast by a fire on the shore. Breathe slowly on the dock with Jeyda Deyna, steam in the floating sauna, then slip into cool freshwater. And when the sky finally dims, gather around a midsummer bonfire as the music drifts across Hondoo Island.

Client Testimonials

“I have wanted to go to Algonquin Park for many years, and wow this was a great way to do it! This place has so much to offer, what a wonderful way to get out on the water and also do some hiking with fantastic guides, return to amazing appetizers, a drink followed by a dinner that could be served at a high end restaurant. Opportunity to read a book, sit on the dock and take in the wonderful sounds of nature followed by an evening paddle and wonderful, interesting conversation with diverse and international guests.

Everything is taken care of for you, coffee and hot chocolate or tea is always available, amazing desserts! Omg…the breakfast, even a packed lunch for our day jumping off of Red rock! Evenings were cozy in the beautiful rustic cabin!!! This place provides an opportunity to still feel the rustic natural experience of Algonquin, disconnecting from electricity, phones, etc…yet still feeling pampered by the wonderful staff!!! So happy I found this place!!!”

My wife and two friends took the Canoe & Lodge trip together,…with Mark leading our canoe segment and he was absolutely stellar in every respect,….and everyone in the Lodge, was so efficient and oh so knowledgable about the environment. It was truly a fantastic week. We had hot summer heat on a few days, one cool/mild early morning, torrential rain on the canoe paddle back to the Outfitter which was a unique life experience in the middle of the lake and then the lodge to rest up, relax and explore.

Not only did we learn so much about the forrest, plants, animals and of course wilderness camping techniques,… but the food!,….OMG it was over the top in quality, quantity and especially in presentation…..hard to do in the middle of the bush and in a lodge without electricity. Clearly the Voyageur Quest team is at the top of their game and Voyageur Quest must be an industry leader,……Sorry to say i wish we could keep it a secret for just us to enjoy again…but I’ve already recommended it to two of my colleagues in the US. They would go head over heels for this Canadian wilderness experience.

You certainly have a terrific offering,…I just can’t say enough about it,….I know our friends who took the trip with us would wholehearted agree as well.
