Flexible Programming Options Choose from a range of Outdoor Education programs and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions across all seasons—canoeing, hiking, and winter journeys. Each program is thoughtfully adapted to meet your group’s unique goals, interests, and experience level.
We deliver Outdoor Education programs at our VQ Wilderness Centre in Algonquin Park (Access #1), on the Toronto Islands, and at parks throughout the Greater Toronto Area. We’re also happy to bring programs to a location that best suits your group.
Students learn how to take care of themselves, overcome challenges, and work toward meaningful goals. Through guided experiences and intentional facilitation, they develop teamwork, leadership, and communication skills while building confidence and resilience. Along the way, they gain a deeper understanding of themselves, strengthen their relationships with others, and grow in ways that extend well beyond the trip.
Safety, Communication & Preparedness Safety is at the core of every Voyageur Quest program. With certified, experienced guides and strong risk management systems, we ensure every trip is well prepared. Clear communication with schools and families helps students arrive confident, supported, and ready to engage.
Our programs foster meaningful connections—with nature, with Algonquin Park, and with each other. As a Green Step certified operator, we are committed to sustainable practices that respect and protect the environments we explore. In an unplugged setting, students step away from screens and distractions, creating space for presence, connection, and shared experience. These moments build a deeper appreciation for the natural world and their place within it.

Come and join the thrill and excitement of white water rafting with the adventure rafting team!

The sun is barely up, the air cool and clean. The silence is complete except for the rythmic slap, slap of the paddles in the water, smooth as glass, reflecting the crimson and gold of autumn’s glory as it reveals itself on another new day in Algonquin Park.

Our three-day Algonquin adventure started with an exhausting three-hour hike followed by a 45-minute paddle in a huge voyageur canoe. Along the way we stepped around snakes sunning themselves on the rocks surrounding Music Lake and ran for our lives from a hive of swarming bees that managed to leave us with a few very painful memories of our afternoon trek to the Algonquin Log Cabin.
