The East wind is howling today with whitecaps on Kawawaymog Lake and waves crashing on the dock. The surrounding hills are filled with colour, especially the red maples which are peaking. The last week of September is always gorgeous in Algonquin Park. If you love warm days and crisp nights, get up here soon and experience the falls colour spectacle. For any of you looking for a last minute getaway, Voyageur Quest has some fall colour adventures based out of our Algonquin Log cabin and Algonquin Cottages.
I had the good fortune to be out on a canoe trip for the last few days with MA and Nikoline. After a very busy summer and fall it was wonderful to celebrate a great season with two of our talented team. Nik’s incredible cooking has our log cabin guests raving about the food. We are so lucky to have her back this year. MA has been an amazing mentor to our canoe guides all of which had an amazing season. Massive thanks to all of our top notch guides, cooks, shoppers, drivers, support workers and office team who have made 2016 our best year to date.
