“I have wanted to go to Algonquin Park for many years, and wow this was a great way to do it! This place has so much to offer, what a wonderful way to get out on the water and also do some hiking with fantastic guides , return to amazing appetizers, a drink followed by a dinner that could be served at a high end restaurant. Opportunity to read a book, sit on the dock and take in the wonderful sounds of nature followed by an evening paddle and wonderful, interesting conversation with diverse and international guests.
Everything is taken care of for you, coffee and hot chocolate or tea is always available, amazing desserts! Omg…the breakfast, even a packed lunch for our day jumping off of Red rock! Evenings were cozy in the beautiful rustic cabin!!! This place provides an opportunity to still feel the rustic natural experience of Algonquin, disconnecting from electricity, phones, etc…yet still feeling pampered by the wonderful staff!!! So happy I found this place!!!”
My wife and two friends took the Canoe & Lodge trip together,…with Mark leading our canoe segment and he was absolutely stellar in every respect,….and everyone in the Lodge, was so efficient and oh so knowledgable about the environment. It was truly a fantastic week. We had hot summer heat on a few days, one cool/mild early morning, torrential rain on the canoe paddle back to the Outfitter which was a unique life experience in the middle of the lake and then the lodge to rest up, relax and explore.
Not only did we learn so much about the forrest, plants, animals and of course wilderness camping techniques,… but the food!,….OMG it was over the top in quality, quantity and especially in presentation…..hard to do in the middle of the bush and in a lodge without electricity. Clearly the Voyageur Quest team is at the top of their game and Voyageur Quest must be an industry leader,……Sorry to say i wish we could keep it a secret for just us to enjoy again…but I’ve already recommended it to two of my colleagues in the US. They would go head over heels for this Canadian wilderness experience. You certainly have a terrific offering,…I just can’t say enough about it,….I know our friends who took the trip with us would wholehearted agree as well.
