Our strength is in our customization – creating a special wedding ceremony and reception based on your vision and having our wilderness team help with all the details. Over the last 10 years, Voyageur Quest has been honoured to host weddings of all shapes and sizes in all 4 seasons. With five locations on two different lakes, there is no end to the choice when it comes to ceremony locations and receptions.

Honeymoons
The Algonquin Island Retreat is ideal for honeymoons. Located 1km out in Kawawaymog Lake, the island is private and has spectacular water views in all 4 directions. Canoe, fish, relax and take in both sunrise and sunsets from the two decks. Customize your stay with shopping services and or guided wilderness excursions.

Stags & Stagettes
With six bedrooms accommodating 12 – 14, the Algonquin Log Cabin is the definitive place to hold your stag/ stagette. Centered by a massive stone fireplace, the Log Cabin oozes rustic charm and is perfect for a group of friends. Spring, summer, and fall are great for canoeing on Surprise Lake, hiking, fishing, mountain biking or chilling dockside after a fire heated sauna. Bring your own food or take our packages with tasty home cooked meals. Winter is the season for our famous “stew and brew” and ideal for snowshoeing, backcountry skiing, dog sledding, ice fishing and snowmobiling.

Solar Powered Cottage Comfort
The Algonquin Cottage Outpost is a great option for those who prefer a more comfortable cottage experience. The Outpost sleeps up to 15 in three chalet suites. The water front offers 3 docks and a floating sauna. With a large lakeside lawn, the Outpost is a great venue for a wedding reception, dinner and bonfire.
