Algonquin Winter Camp & Log Cabin Expedition
Learn winter backcountry travel skills from seasoned guides and participate in a winter camping expedition at Algonquin’s northwest
corner. Ski across frozen lakes and snowshoe through waist deep snow. Sleep in heated wall tents and the cozy Algonquin Log Cabin.
Authentic Winter Travel
Based out of the cozy Algonquin Log Cabin, participate in an authentic winter adventure. Snowshoe, ski and luge. Learn all about winter travel with toboggans, heated tents, pickets and ice safety.
Learn, Participate, Lead and Grow
Support your team as you work together snowshoeing and travelling to a winter camp. These trips offer excellent leadership and teamwork opportunities while travelling in a beautiful winter wilderness. Ask our office about the Duke of Edinburgh International Award.
What's included
Each trip is customized to fit. Most School trips are all inclusive with log cabin and winter camping accommodation,meals, equipment, and instruction.

All Equipment Included
Snowshoes, skis, wall tents, toboggans, sleeping pads, food and cooking equipment, plus lots more. Your students bring all your personal items such as clothing, toiletries.
Trip Itinerary
The first two days follow our 3-day Winter Log Cabin Adventure: snowshoeing, skiing, luge, sauna and torchlit broomball, with nights in the Log Cabin. Then your group loads the toboggans and heads out on snowshoes for an overnight winter camp. Exact programming depends on weather and your group's goals.
